Description

This is a PRN position.  Rotates all shifts.

Performs and monitors CT procedures and equipment.  Follows department and hospital policies.  Provides direct and indirect patient care in a hospital setting.  Communicates with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patients' clinical conditions while undergoing CT procedures.  Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patients' medical conditions or responses to treatment.  Educates patients and families as needed; interactions with patients and family members result in patient satisfaction. 


Qualifications

Education:  Associate in Radiological Sciences or comparable certification ARRT. 

Experience:  1-2 years Radiological Technologist. 

Certifications:  CPR, ARRT-Radiology, ARRT - CT within 3 years of hire.
