Full time Days - plus oncall

Under the direction of the Cardiovascular Imaging Medical Director and Cardiovascular Imaging Manager perform prompt, hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation, accurate documentation and recording of all Cardiac, Vascular, Radiological, and EP procedural hemodynamics and equipment usage. Complete and accurate documentation of all American College of Cardiology data and New York State reporting data. Invasive quality technical diagnostics and support for patients in the outpatient, inpatient or acute care setting. Maintains inventory and stock for the Cardiovascular Imaging suites.

Minimum Requirements:

* Satisfactory completion of a formal radiology technology training program in an AMA approved school.

* BLS required

* ARRT certification required

* ACLS preferred; will be obtained within 1 year of hire

* RT-R with VIR or CIR (Radiology Technologist with Vascular-Interventional Radiology or Radiology Technologist with Cardiac-Interventional Radiology) with a minimum of 1 year experience in a Interventional Cath Lab preferred; The VIR/CIR exam will be attempted within a two-year period from date of hire into the cath lab, and an expectation of passing this exam
