Job Details
JOB SUMMARY: Performs MRI exams and procedures on patients of all ages. Maintains patient safety.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge, Skills, and Physical Demands Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology. Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes. Ability to communicate well with Radiologist and Physicians to coordinate proper imaging of patients. Strong communication skills are essential to provide excellent care to patients and families. Able to function well with minimal or no direct supervision. One year experience as a General Radiologic Technologist is required. One year of MRI experience is preferred. Must be registered with the ARRT.

Certification in MRI within 1 year of position acceptance is preferred. Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time; must lift and carry items weighting up to 50 pounds. Ability to assist with positioning and transporting patients, i.e., pushing beds, stretchers and wheelchairs. Requires the ability to maneuver equipment and motor coordination to operate equipment.
