Participates in planning & establishing system requirements & design specifics; participates in planning, directing & coordinating project activities.
Participates w/ design, development, & implementation of solutions to system needs; Communicates systems needs in a timely manner to appropriate staff.
Coordinates & communicates systems procedural implementation w/ assigned users, coordinators, & specialty managers & work teams;
Serves as liaison between user, vendor & IT;
Supports compliance & Principles of Responsibility; Maintains confidentiality; Protects organizational assets; Exhibits ethics & integrity; Adheres to applicable federal & state laws & regulations, accreditation & licensing requirements, policies & procedures; Reports &/or resolves issues of non-compliance.

Essential Functions:
Assists PACS Manager w/ analyzing & determining business needs & establishing requirements of computer systems.
Accountable for meeting targeted schedule dates & implementation timelines.
Responsible for the day to day operations of regional PACS systems, including Cardiology & Imaging. Operations include image workflow, archiving, autorouting, prefetching & other related activities
Partner w/ the RIS team to insure interfaces & data flow required between the RIS & PACS are functioning properly.
Assists w/ designing, developing & implementing solutions to improve operational efficiency of systems.
Assists as liaison w/ staff, management, users & vendors in training programs & maintenance.
Assists w/ assessing & managing deployment of information systems; Conducts training & provides technical & problem-resolution support to end users.
Ensures data integrity; maintains system security & standards.
Ensures information system is in compliance w/ all regulatory requirements.
Implements appropriate QA & QI metrics to foster continued quality improvement.
Ensures systems availability; Participates in development of service level agreements; Triage/responds to service calls as needed.
Provide on-call availability according to the needs of Regional Imaging Services & Cardiology.
Assists in communicating w/ other Regions to facilitate program improvements & learning.
Maintains & demonstrates knowledge, skills & abilities to support all Diagnostic Imaging systems.
Demonstrates knowledge, skills, & abilities necessary to provide care &/or services appropriate to age groups served.
Demonstrates knowledge, skills, & abilities necessary to provide culturally sensitive care &/or service.
Adheres to & maintains current knowledge of Principles of Responsibility, applicable federal & state laws & regulations, accreditation & licensing requirements, policies & procedures; Reports &/or resolves issues of non-compliance.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
3 years of clinical information systems or related experience, preferably in diagnostic imaging.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems; radiologic sciences or health related field preferred.
High school diploma or GED.
Demonstrated project management experience, including working w/ cross-functional teams.
