Job Details GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under the general direction of the Institute Administrator and Department chair of Community and General Pediatrics, advises in various aspects of all regional physician practice operations. Manages the administration of the office managers, practice managers and clerical personnel within each physician practice. Assumes responsibility for multiple physician practice's fiscal planning, budgeting and related financial functions. Performs analysis of operational systems to evaluate and develop new or revise systems and operating procedures to achieve maximum efficiency of patient care delivery systems. Functions as liaison/consultant to the physician practices. Organizes and manages the development of plans related to the expansion, relocation and remodeling of current and new facilities and medical practices while achieving established goals and objectives. Ensures the administration of quality and safe care for patients of all ages, levels and cultural diversity.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration or other related field of formal study.
* Requires knowledge of budgeting, cost analysis, manpower planning, supervision, and operational analysis.
* Must have strong written and verbal skills, excellent organization and time management skills.
* A Masters Degree is preferred and may substitute for some of the stated experience.
Required Length and Type of Experience:
* Requires five years of management experience in a medical practice setting or hospital environment to include budget development and forecasting, assessment of cost effectiveness of systems, planning and management of space and equipment, management of diverse levels of employees, planning and implementation of systems and procedures.

Required Physical and Environmental Demands:
* Requires extensive sitting and dexterity to perform work on a PC.
* Requires the ability to walk to other parts of the Foundation to attend meetings; must have normal or corrected vision and the ability to verbally communicate to employees and patients.
