ADVANCED RAD TECH- FT Nights at Sierra Providence East

POSITION SUMMARY:   Administers ionizing radiation. Operates x-ray equipment and takes diagnostic radiographs. Provides patient services utilizing diagnostic imaging modalities. Practices sterile technique when required. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of radiographic techniques, radiation protection, anatomy, positioning, medical terminology and radiographic physics. Provides services to main operating room, interventional radiology, and main radiology coverage. Provides call coverage for radiology departments mentioned.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Licensure/certification/registration:  Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic technologist (ARRT)Texas Department of Health Certification in Medical Radiologic Technology.  (Licensure within 90 days of employment)

Experience Required: Preferred experience in IR, OR.
