ULTRASOUND TECH - Per diem

Description

  • Performs diagnostic Ultrasound examinations (diagnostic and interventional) for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician.
  • Direct patient responsibility for geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and neonatal patient care until the patient is returned to his/her room or until outpatient is discharged. 

Qualifications

  • Education: Certificate from Accredited Program in Ultrasound Technology.
  • An Associate's Degree in Ultrasound Technology is preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of Ultrasound in all forms of diagnostic technology, terminology, practice, procedure, physiology and human anatomy. 
  • ARDMS Certified. 
  • BLS/CPR.
  •  Minimum of one (2) year experience preferred. 
  •  Must work well under pressure and be willing and able to work on holidays, as well as take call on a shared basis.
