POSITION REQUIREMENTS
 

CATHOLIC HEALTHCARE WEST ARIZONA

Current ARDMS license in Abdomen or OB. RVT preferred

Minimum of two years of ultrasound experience.

Knowledge and technical competence in performing all aspects of general and vascular ultrasound.

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

PACS experience a bonus.

Basic knowledge of hospital information systems.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

1. Certificate Degree in Ultrasound from an accredited program
2. Two (2) years Ultrasound experience
3. Knowledge and technical competence with ultrasound equipment and procedures
4. Ability to interact with Radiologists in discussing and interpreting results of scans
5. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, making decisions and directing work and patient flow to achieve maximum operational efficiency
6. In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology, understanding of the medical terminology associated with various procedures

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

1. Current Ultrasound License (ARDMS) in Abdomen or OB. RVT preferred.
2. Current BLS Healthcare Provider card
