ULTRASOUND TECH - Full Time

Performs diagnostic Ultrasound examinations (diagnostic and interventional) for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician. Direct patient responsibility for geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and neonatal patient care until the patient is returned to his/her room or until outpatient is discharged. Procedures to include abdomen, OB/Gyn and Pediatrics.  

Education: Certificate from Accredited Program in Ultrasound Technology. An Associate's Degree in Ultrasound Technology is preferred. Thorough knowledge of Ultrasound in all forms of diagnostic technology, terminology, practice, procedure, physiology and human anatomy. Must be able to perform al aspects of Ultrasound. 

RDMS/ARRT Registered - BLS/CPR.

Minimum of one (2) year experience.  Must work well under pressure and be willing and able to work on holidays, as well as take call on a shared basis.
