Responsibilities:
Performs ordered procedures with technical expertise to ensure quality exams. Exams are performed in a way that provides a safe environment. Performs one or more of the following types of examinations: echo, vascular, or general ultrasound. The technician will be expected to follow physician orders while applying learned methods according to established policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Experience: ARDMS/RDCS/RVT registered or registry eligible in at least one area of ultrasound (Echo, General, Vascular, etc.) Must attain registry status within one year of employment.Associates degree or certification from a certified one or two year program.Other qualifications/certificate/license:Current BLS certificate or obtain within 540 hours of employment. PREFERED QUALFICIATION5 years of previous work experience in ECHO. Previous US & Vascular experience. Demonstrates behaviors consistent with BHS values, management expectations, and service standards.Banner Health employees are expected to adhere to Banners service standards and organizational values in all their interactions with Banner patients, other customers, and fellow employees.
